Giovanni Seneca was born in Naples in 1967. He graduated in 1988 with full marks cum laude. In 1989 he moved to Paris, where he specialized in classical guitar, musical analysis and orchestration at “Ecole Normale de Musique” and at the conservatory “Ravel”. During his stay in Paris he began composing and he increased his concert activity, always characterised by the desire to deal with the different languages of music. In 1993 he went back to the Marche and dedicated himself mainly to composition, writing and interpreting music for several chamber groups and orchestras, but also for television, cinema, theatre and commercials. Giovanni Seneca performs concerts in ensemble with pieces of his own composition, but also as soloist performer in chamber groups and in concerts for guitar and orchestra. He has performed in the most important Italian cities, but also in Paris, Berlin,Cannes, New York, Philadelphia, Tel Aviv, Sarajevo, Split, Belgrade,Izmir and Durres. In April 2009 he toured New Zealand with 12 concerts. He performed as soloist for the following orchestras: RAI Orchestra Sinfonica of Rome, Orchestre des Concerts Lamoreux of Paris, Orchestre Symphonique Français of Paris, Orchestre Philarmonique of Cannes in the French Riviera, Orchestra Filarmonica Marchigiana of Ancona, Orchestra Filarmonica of Udine. The great Italian composer Ennio Morricone wrote and dedicated to Giovanni Seneca a concert for guitar and orchestra whose world premier was performed in Paris and recorded on CD together with Orchestra Nazionale Accademia di Santa Cecilia of Rome. His compositions include soundtracks for cinema, for example the film “Alma” (2008) selected in the world fim festival Montreal 2009 and the short movie “Di Mosche e fate” (2003),winner of Milan film festival 2004, television signature tunes and several pieces of stage music for live performances by well known actors such as s Valeria Moriconi, Maddalena Crippa, David Riondino and Neri Marcorè. He is also guitar teacher at the conservatorium G.B. Pergolesi in Ancona.

MARCO SOLLINI (PIANOFORTE E COMPOSIZIONE)
Marco Sollini, an Italian pianist who studied under maestros Scala, Oppitz, Gelber and Weissenberg, in 1985 was awarded 1st prize in the Imola "from Bach to Bartok" competition.
He has performed extensively in important concerts in Italy organized by institutions such as Serate Musicali and La Società dei Concerti of Milan, Accademia Filarmonica of Bologna, Istituzione Universitaria dei Concerti of Rome, Società del Quartetto of Bergamo, Amici della Musica of Caltanisetta, Associazione Etnea of Catania, Società dei Concerti of Ravello, Amici della Musica of Cagliari, Società Veneziana dei Concerti, Pergolesi Festival of Jesi, Settembre Musica Festival of Turin, Camerata Musicale Barese, Mare Musica Festival of Ischia, Filarmonica Laudamo of Messina, U. Giordano Festival of Baveno, Festival del Gargano, Amici della Musica of Ancona, Festivo Festival of Tigullio, A.M.A. Calabria of Lamezia Terme, Umbria Music Fest, etc. Outside Italy, he has performed in Spain, Hungary, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Poland, Norway, Sweden, Kenya, Ethiopia, Tunisia, United States, Mexico, Turkey, Denmark, Germany, Portugal, Serbia, Perù, Luxenbourg and Indonesia.He has participated as soloist in several editions of "Incontri di Musica Sacra Contemporanea" in Rome and in "Concerto dell'Epifania" 1998 held in Naples at the Basilica of Santa Chiara, broadcast worldwide by RAI International. He has also given soloist performances with several different orchestras, including the Dohnanyi Symphonic Orchestra and the Budapest MAV Orchestra, the Hungarian State Symphony Orchestra, the Slovakian Radio Orchestra, the Moscow Ippolitov-Ivanov Orchestra, the Stuttgart Philharmonic Orchestra and the Serbia Radiotelevision Symphonic Orchestra. Marco Sollini's repertoire ranges from the masterpieces of piano literature to rare and unpublished Italian works, particularly those of the great opera composers, of whom he is a strong supporter. He has made a number of recordings for RAI, Radio Vaticana, Radio Tunisina, Radio National de España, Radio France Culture, Radio Unams of Mexico and National Serbian Radio. He has recorded CDs for Rusty Records, BMG Ariola, Bongiovanni (complete works of Bellini, Leoncavallo, Puccini, Mascagni, Giordano; music by Liszt, Thalberg, Verdi, Persiani, Mannino), ARTS (Gradus ad Parnassum by Muzio Clementi), Polincontri Classica (Schumann, Chopin).He is currently recording the complete piano works of G.Rossini in eight CDs for Chandos and the complete piano works of J.Offenbach in three CDs for CPO.He has contributed to a number of music reviews and, for Boccaccini & Spada Editori, has edited the published scores of the complete piano works of Puccini, Mascagni, Giordano, Leoncavallo, Bellini, several unpublished pieces by Rossini and Mascagni's chamber music compositions.He teaches Principal Piano at the "G.B. Pergolesi" Music Institute, an officially recognized school in Ancona, of which he was also headmaster from 2001 to 2003. For this Institute he planned and implemented the "Muzio Clementi Project" to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the composer's birth, the project included Concerts, a Conference, a Master Class, Competition for Young Musicians, a Marathon on Gradus ad Parnassum, recordings, etc.He teaches besides at the "International School of High Specialized Studies" in the Arts Academy of Rome.He received the "Picus del Ver Sacrum" Award at the Rome Capitol and was nominated "Marchigiano of the Year 2001" for his international artistic activity. In 2004 he received a TV personality award on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the foundation of Italian television. He organize, from 2004, the "Spring Concerts" for CIAS-CESMA of Rome and he's artistic director of Festival "Armonie della sera" of Ponzano di Fermo.
