CLAUDI ARIMANY (flauto)
Claudi Arimany was born in Granollers near Barcelona (Spain).He is considered one of the most prestigious spanish soloists with considerable international projection .He has performed ,always as soloist , with artists of the calibre of J.P.Rampal, M.Nordmann, F.Ayo, N. Zabaleta, V. de los Angeles , C.Orbelian, V.Pikaisen, R.Pidoux, John Steele Ritter, J.Suk, A.Nicolet, J.Rolla, J.J. Kantorov, etc.
And has been invited by some of the most important orchestras in the world such as the English Chamber Orchestra, Philharmonia Virtuosi of New York, Berin Philarmonic Atheneum Quartett, Franz Liszt of Budapest, Israel Sinfonietta, Ensemble Orchestral of Paris, Zagreb Soloists, Munich Bach Orchestra, Moscow Chamber Orchestra, Stuttgart Kammerorchester, Amadeus Chamber Orchestra, Prague Chamber Orchestra, Berliner Kammerorchester and the Czech Philharmonic amongst many others.
Claudi Arimany has given concerts througout Europe, Russia, United States, Canada, Middle East and Japan, performing in the some of the most important halls such as Chicago Symphony Hall ,Washington Library of Congress,Carnegie Hall New York, Palau de la Música Catalana , Beethoven House (Bonn), Auditorio Nacional de Madrid , Rudolfinum (Prague) ,Hollywood Bowl (Los Angeles),Tchaikovsky Hall (Moscow),Gasteig(Munich), Théâtre Champs Elysées, Salle Pleyel and Salle Gaveau (Paris) or Suntory Hall and the Bunka kay kan in Tokio.
He is a jury member for the 'J.P.Rampal International Flute Competition' held in Paris, in adition to many other international competitions.
He has made numerous recordings for labels such as Sony Classical, Novalis, Delos Int.,some of which have been awarded prizes.
Considered by Jean -Pierre Rampal as one of the finest flautists of his generation, they shared platforms around the world and .he inherited a style of interpreting and understanding the art of music.
Claudi Arimany uses for his concerts the emblematic W.S Haynes gold flute that belonged to J.P. Rampal.
ENRIC RIBALTA (FLAUTO)
Enric Ribalta, born in Barcelona in 1979, studied flute with Claudi Arimany and Philippe Pierlot (Paris). He attended master classes with Alain Marion and Maxence Larrieu. He has performed as soloist in Spain, France and Italy, in various festivals. He has performed with artists such as Claudi Arimany, Jean-Louis Beaumadier, Duccio Beluffi, Gaudeamus Trio, and he was invited by the Orchestra da Camera of Silesia to play the flute concerto by Karl Stamitz. He is a rising star among the musicians of his generation.
