PROGRAM 2006

According to the nature of Lake Como Festival 2006, the musical programme presented in the 5 appointments offers an ample musical itinerary, ranging from romantic and opera music to modern suggestions..

The chamber music formula, which will characterize all these concerts, opens the way to a wide transmission of the musical experience, from the charming timbre blending of the guitars of the Trio Cardoso to the flute and harp of the Amadeus Duo: that is the perfect research of a synaesthesia between the colour of the sound, architectonic spaces and natural echoes.

A thematic season (if we remember the recital of the Duo Minella completely dedicated to Paganini's pages and the performance of the Trio Cardoso, which sounds like an ideal “bridge” between Italy and Argentina), but also an invitation to mixed musical routes, sometimes in clear contrast, and the “rediscovery” of authors such as Salieri and Caetani in the sophisticated “Piano Rarities” performed by Roberto Prosseda or in the unique adventure of the improvisation in Rodolfo Matulich's concert.

And the audience will have the task to understand the new – and under some aspects extraordinary – cultural plan of Lake Como 2006: to coordinate a musical, historical and environmental “journey”, in which the musical landscapes, the suggestions and the stops along Lake Lario renew the unforgettable experience of a live concert and the uniqueness of every concert.
